From the Welsh meaning “white footprints” for the white moonspots on her
black and tan flanks, this doeling is our hope to solidify a very nice
dam. On first glance, we saw a doeling with more length and a more
solid leg set from her sire and her mom’s refinement and angulation.
As a Jonnie grand-daughter, we expect her to
produce in the pail with a capacious udder like her dam’s first
freshening (an improved fore-udder on Jonnie) and slightly larger
teats. She is shaping up as a more solid version of her dam and we are
looking forward to seeing how her udder matches up (her sire’s dam was a
Top 10 milker, so capacity is coming through on both sides).
