Isis almost didn't
happen - we planned on studding her mom to Maestro at our friend's house
30 minutes away. The day her dam came into heat a wicked thick fog
blanketed everything - we spent 75 minutes on a 30 minute drive, missed
the turn-off for the farm twice! But eventually we did find the driveway
and 5 months later we got Isis.
Isis’s udder is shaping up very nicely.
Excellent medial, nice sized teats, high and tight. Her sire was known
for his feet and legs - improved and strengthened, making his kids more
solid. The pictures above show exactly why we kept her: elegant, solid,
good rump line, and a great stance. She was also one of Maestro's last
kids, so that makes her extra special for us.
