Selene is Luna’s first doeling and shares many of Luna’s characteristics –
you cannot mistake Luna’s heritage. Selene has a solid frame, very long
with nice angulation and strength and a wonderful topline from her sire
Cody –this jumps out through her coat of winter fur.
Compared to Luna, she benefits
from Cody’s width upfront and is also wider in the rear. We think she
will develop into an elegant doe with a long body, wide rear, and plenty
of capacity for milk.
Oh yes, and she is also the
daughter of the herd-boss, so she has some spirit and loves jumping on the
goat playground. A fun doe that should become a solid doe in the milking
string.
